Growing up I had two competing passions,

science and art. I’ve come to realize that

they needn't compete. Both involve

creativity and using my hands.

It was just the balancing part

I needed to perfect. I think

I’m there with both the left

and right sides of my brain

pinging along happily. I invite

Leslie Palmer received her B.Sc. degree in Biology from Virginia Tech and Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Maryland. Her art training has been an ongoing process continuing predominantly at the Wayne Art Center, The Greater Norristown Art League and The Main Line Art Center, with the rest chalked up to applying the old adage, "practice, practice, practice..."
